Trained in visual arts at the Sorbonne then in textile design at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, LABB designed for many years for different brands. Since 2010, she has devoted herself entirely to her art. Obsessed by the fragile balances of optical effects, depth, vibration, color contrasts and play of light, her artistic work is an endless personal quest, aiming to approach a form of ideal aesthetic, between abstraction & figurative suggestions. LABB deliberately alternates pictorial work on large format and more meticulous work on paper or inclusion of embroidery on the canvases.
LABB strives to offer sensitive and consensual contemporary semi-abstract art, sometimes on the border of artistic craftsmanship, capable of integrating aesthetically into all places.
