Inspired by Mid Century Modernism and Architectural Structures, C.M. paints mainly in bold acrylic colors with a palette knife, letting minimalism takes its course throughout the painting process, adding drips and texture as if following an architect's blueprint. He studied Building Science & Sustainability including design theories, methods, and practice of contemporary European and American Architecture. Roads, buildings, and trees form strong counterpoints in the natural landscape forming his distinctive style. A self-taught artist, he resides in the Puget Sound with his two Basset Hounds.
C.M. joined Grand Image in 2012.
