Carolina Luzon was born in Barcelona in 1972. She moved to Granada when she was very young and studied Fine Arts at Facultad Alonso Cano. She also took an engraving course at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Granada and attended several workshops and courses with outstanding painters such as Jose Hernandez, Jordi Teixidor and Munoz Vera.
Carolina Luzon's career is characterized by a very personal style, the care about texture, experimentation and large formats. Elephants have always been the main topic in a long series of works in which, far from repeating themselves, they have contributed many and interesting concepts.
Since 1993 Carolina has exhibited in galleries all over Spain and has been awarded many prizes, among them two of the most important national drawing awards.
