Shana Blakley is a Virginia-born artist who has been creating across many mediums since childhood. She has always had an incredible passion for illustrating and painting but turned toward it as a calming outlet for grief after the death of her firstborn. She enjoys everything about the creation process - from thinking about materials and composition, to interpreting colors and shapes from daily life, to the tactile and visual satisfactions of seeing something through completion. Her purpose is to create emotion, reflection, and meaning for people's spaces through her art.
Shana currently lives in Midlothian, Virginia with partner Matt, son Hue, daughter Elm, and the warmth and color of their late son October.
Shana joined Grand Image in 2022.
