Bob Hunt, formerly a graphic designer, now dedicates himself to painting. Despite having formal education in art and design, Hunt credits his growth as a painter to experimentation and the act of painting itself. He has focused on abstract/non-objective and abstract landscape painting for almost thirty years. For Hunt, the physicality of painting and the emergence of subconscious imagery are the most intriguing aspects of the process. Although he seeks to validate his relationship with these images, they remain elusive and often destroyed in his struggle to articulate them. Hunt's artistic journey is a continuous emotional and intellectual battle.
