Kate Hougen founded Mira Jean Designs in 2015, a textile line that expanded to wallpaper in 2017. Inspired by nature, her children, and coastal vacations, Kate creates luxurious, nature-inspired designs for home décor products on 100% GOTS-certified organic fabrics made in the USA. Her products have been featured in various publications and she has spoken at the DC Design House. Kate also offers interior decorating services to local homeowners and enjoys spending time with her family and Bernese Mountain Dog Piper when she's not creating.
