Michael Faragher is a California based artist who uses almost exclusively black and white photography. Favoring minimized compositions and soft, moderated lighting, Faragher selectively highlights the understated aspects of his subjects: coaxing fine textures and subtle forms to the forefront of his images. Whether it be the seeming translucence of a seashell, or a soft, low light brushing over the contours of a flower petal, Michael Faragher's photography captures the fragile grace of the nature around us.
