Artwork for Paperplate Inc.

Paperplate is a Seattle based studio collaboration between Amy Bengtson and Urban Guy Allen who share a background in architecture, illustration and graphic design as well as accessory and apparel design. Since 2009 Paperplate has allowed them to focus on large scale artwork based on their own photography of everyday objects and manmade environments.

Amy Bengtson grew up in Kansas and after attaining her degree in Interior Architecture relocated to Seattle. She started Amy Bengtson Jewelry in 2003 developing her unique style inspired by natural elements. She's also the founder of August Eliason, a line of men's accessories, belts and buckles.

Urban Guy Allen moved to the West coast in the 90's finally settling in Seattle. He's worked as Urban Illustration since 1995 concentrating on hand-drawn architectural illustration. He's also a painter with work in private collections in Seattle and throughout the United States.

Paperplate Inc. joined Grand Image in 2012.
