Artwork for Tracy Hiner

Tracy Hiner grew up in Dallas and spent summers on her grandparents' farm in Oklahoma. She pursued a double major in Fashion Design and Textile Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, with a passion for silkscreening. Tracy also studied in Paris at La Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, where she interned at Dice Kayak, creating embroidery designs despite language challenges.

After college, Tracy moved to Los Angeles to work with fashion designer Jeremy Scott on his "Right to Bear Arms" collection and later served as an assistant fashion designer for Louis Verdad. Transitioning from fashion, she joined an art and design company, where she quickly advanced to designing art lines and managing large projects. In 2009, she developed a new art line for a younger market but chose not to relocate when the company moved to Florida. Instead, she founded Black Crow Studios, realizing her vision of creating unique, large-scale textile designs for home decor.

Tracy joined Grand Image in 2010.
