Artwork for Lauder Bowden

Lauder Bowden has been an active member of the New York Art and Design Community since graduating from Pratt Institute in 1968. He lives and works in New York City.

He has contributed design work to the offices of George Nelson, Edward F. Knowles, The Walker Group (where he was Creative Director), Dexter Design, Chermayeff and Guismar, Barbara Schwartz ASID, and BHR Design Group where he is now Vice President. A partial list of corporate clients include: Barney's NY, The Woodbridge Shopping Mall, Burdines Department Stores - FL., Henri Bendel - NY, Bonwitt Teller - NY, The Pegasus Club - Meadowlands, NJ, F.A.O. Schwartz - NY, The New York City Opera, Crockery Barn - Toronto, RCA Corporation. Herrick House - CT. In addition he has designed residential interiors for numerous clients in New York, Connecticut, California, Paradise Island,- Bahamas, Gstaad- Switzerland, Aspen- Co. and Sarasota-FL.

His artworks are part of the corporate Collections of The Prudential Insurance Company, Standard Oil of Indiana, Wingate and Cullen NY., The Hebrew Home for the Aged, Liscum-McCormack-Van Voorhies NY., as well as numerous private collections in the United States and abroad.

His work exhibited at the White Gallery in Kent, Connecticut. In addition to the works available through Grand Image, he also published the first eight plates of two Folios of Bowden's Commedia dell'Arte, a group of 16 giclee prints based on Anton Bustelli's 1760 Nymphenburg figurines.

Lauder joined Grand Image in 2009.
