Artwork for Patrick Howe

Patrick Howe, a Portland, Oregon native, had his first solo exhibition at age 15 and graduated from the Museum Art School in Portland. His career has included roles as an artist and Head Preparator at the Portland Art Museum, where he gained in-depth knowledge of iconic artworks. In 1975, Howe completed an art project for the Oregon Arts Commission, and later moved to Colorado, where he was selected by the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities to conduct workshops and classes, becoming the only visual artist chosen for the CCAH Chautauqua Tour.

Howe's work has been exhibited in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, and California, including notable shows at the Denver Art Museum and the Portland Art Museum. In addition to painting, he is an award-winning graphic designer, creating work for major companies like Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard. Howe's art reflects his deep respect for nature and a lifelong passion for capturing light. His approach to painting is rooted in curiosity and a desire to explore various styles and techniques, resulting in a dynamic and evolving body of work.

Patrick joined Grand Image in 2008.
