Artwork for Jane Guthridge

Jane Goethel Guthridge, an artist based in Colorado, expresses her emotions through color, line, and texture rather than painting literal representations. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University and furthered her studies under Armin Hoffman and Paul Rand in Switzerland, later attending the Art Students League of Denver. Her work, described by The Pastel Journal as rich in color and texture, often features patterns of trees and foliage, with the subject serving as a backdrop to the emotional impact of the piece.

Jane's work has been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions, earning her multiple awards. She was recently selected to showcase her art in "The International Biennale of Contemporary Art" in Florence, Italy, and M.I.A.D Venado Tuerto in Argentina, and her work has been included in the book "American Art Collector." Her pieces are part of collections at Colorado State Bank and Trust, Kaiser Permanente, and other notable institutions.

Jane joined Grand Image in 2007.
