Artwork for Daniel Roy

Expressionist Daniel Roy was born in California and traveled extensively throughout his life. Always intrigued by art, he enrolled in his first class as a young child. Fascinated with the colors of his surroundings, he has always been drawn to the outdoors. He studied at San Diego State University and graduated from Chapman College in 1985 while exploring his artistic talents in a variety of mediums. He has long specialized in dynamic abstract and non-objective painting. Through color and composition He evokes within the observer a stream of positive emotions similar to his altruistic passion for life.

Daniel Roy's new work is compelling and interpretive, combining large figure faces with multi-layering painting. Using a distinctive technique of multi-layering, he creates unique pieces that lead the viewer to question the meaning of his three dimensional statement. His paintings will allow your imagination to reach unknown levels.

The artist is rapidly gaining recognition as an established artist and can be seen in collections of Lia Iacocca (Rancho Mirage, CA), Kevin Schon (Beverly Hills, CA), Yankee Stadium Executive Offices (New York, N.Y.), Creative Artists Agency (Beverly Hills, CA), Miles and Sally Berger (Los Angeles, CA), Adam Winnick, Global Crossing (Los Angeles, CA), Bob and Alice ABT (Chicago, IL).
