Artwork for Tim Howe

Tim Howe, born in the breathtaking landscapes of New Zealand, found his artistic inspiration in the natural beauty surrounding him. He graduated from the Wellington School of Design, where he studied fine art, illustration, graphic design, photography, and printmaking. After immigrating to the United States, he established a design studio in San Diego, CA. His travels through Europe, particularly Spain, France, and Italy, profoundly influenced his artistic style, leading him to establish a studio in Barcelona, where he could immerse himself in the landscapes that captivated him.

Howe's work reflects a seamless blend of Impressionism and Abstraction, capturing nature's beauty with a contemporary flair. His landscapes, inspired by his travels across Europe, Vancouver Island, Seattle, and New Zealand, are known for their vivid colors, dramatic textures, and dynamic brushstrokes. Drawing on his graphic design background, Howe interprets natural elements in bold, exaggerated forms, creating pieces that extend beyond the canvas. His commitment to exploring new techniques and styles ensures that his work remains fresh and innovative.

Tim joined Grand Image in 2006.
