Artwork for Kloe Kang

Kloe Kang is a distinguished artist with a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Arts from Seoul National University. Since 1999, she has served as a lecturer at both Kapiolani Community College and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Kang's extensive exhibition history spans across the U.S. and internationally, showcasing her work in prominent galleries and museums. Her art has earned her numerous awards, including the Servco Award of Excellence and multiple recognitions from the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce. Kang's works are also part of several esteemed collections, including those of the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and Neiman Marcus at Ala Moana.

Kang's work is celebrated for its intricate blend of contemporary and traditional elements, drawing from her diverse background and extensive education in both Eastern and Western art forms. Her art often explores themes of cultural identity, nature, and the human experience, resonating deeply with a broad audience. In addition to her teaching and exhibition work, Kang has contributed to various publications, further establishing her as a significant figure in the art world.
