Victoria Johnson is an artist born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Portland State University and graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Fine Art. In her over 40 years as an artist, Victoria has been featured in solo exhibitions all over the Pacific Northwest and has artwork in countless public collections, including U.S. Embassies in Armenia and Laos.Victoria's artwork is a masterclass in Post-Modernism. Her works feel both completely stationary and vividly in flux. The linearity of time is a common theme for Victoria, who regularly questions human perception of time and the positive and negative emotions associated with it. Her paintings speak to the realities of mind and matter and process and outcome. She takes pride in the authenticity of her work and the harmony found within her head, her heart, and her creativity.
