Artwork for Charlotte Foust

Contemporary still lifes and abstracts are the main subject matter of Charlotte Foust's work. Charlotte began drawing at an early age and her interest in the arts continued throughout her childhood. She completed a Bachelor Degree in Art from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and maintains a studio in North Carolina.

Charlotte works primarily in mixed media - acrylic combined with collage elements. "I find inspiration for my floral paintings in the lush gardens of the South, inhabited by bright azaleas, camellia bushes and the sweet aroma of gardenias."

Found within the tradition of the still life, an irresistible muse lies in the beauty of nature, and Charlotte's paintings provide a fresh approach to the still life genre.

Charlotte joined Grand Image in 2006.
