Filippo Ioco, born in 1968 in Leuggern, Switzerland, moved to the U.S. with his family in 1971 and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Struggling with language barriers, Ioco turned to art as his primary form of expression, which later blossomed into a passion for body painting. Ioco's Movement of Color evolved into innovative forms, such as his groundbreaking 1990 runway art show "Looking into Color," where live models were painted to match the canvases they carried down the runway.
