Tribby is a versatile artist at ease working in a variety of media and subject matter. Many people know him for his narrative figure paintings. Others collect his landscapes and his still life work.
His work reflects the influence of artists he appreciates and loves, people as diverse as Matisse, Parks, Modigliani, Beckman, Diebenkorn and Bishoff. From these and others over the years and they have helped to shape his fine sense of formal composition.
