Gregory Garrett, born in Ohio in 1969, is a self-taught artist whose childhood fascination with light and darkness set him on a lifelong pursuit of art, including music and photography. Garrett draws inspiration from his travels and cultural experiences, and believes that history is crucial for the development of art. He finds inspiration in contemporary artists and believes that the present is the most important period in the history of art.
