Win a Chihuly Glass Piece and Support Transplant House
Nine years ago I received a liver transplant. Since that time a personal passion of mine has been the Seattle-based charity Transplant House that provides transplant patients and their caregivers with high quality, affordable housing during their pre-and post-operative stay. Transplant patients, from small inftants to retirees, often travel far beyond their local hospital for transplant surgery where they face limited housing choices. Transplant House provides long-term, significantly discounted leases on apartments that are furnished, cleaned, and maintained following strict medical protocols established by the University of Washington Medical Center. Dale Chihuly has been a friend of mine for 30 years. Last year, when I told Dale about Grand Image’s commitment to our charity, he immediately stepped up to help our cause. And this year, he is doing it again!
As part of this year's Transplant House Auction, we are holding a drawing for a signed, studio edition glass piece by Dale Chihuly.
