Elisso is the artist’s pseudonym used by Elisabeth Peterson for all of her creative work. After receiving her BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2016, she moved to the West Coast to deepen her connection to nature, from which she finds endless inspiration. Her specialty is improvised landscapes, within which she habitually experiments with line, color, and texture to develop a unique sense of place. Her more personal work explores themes of mental health, environmentalism, and personal relationships. Outside of her studio, Elisso enjoys exploring the natural, deep, and unyielding Pacific Northwest environment much as she does her landscape paintings. Transform your space with this archival digital print on canvas.
