Van Hoang, a Seattle-based painter born in Vietnam, discovered his passion for art at a young age and pursued studies in Industrial Design before realizing that his true passion lies in painting. He completed a BFA in painting and drawing at the University of Washington in 2013. After working for a large art studio, he shifted his focus to his personal work and moved into a studio loft in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood.
